Job Description

Job Role: Business Development Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Familiarizing yourself with all products and services offered by our company.
  • Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing department.
  • Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
  • Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
  • Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
  • Crafting business proposals and delivering pitches to draw in more revenue from clients.
  • Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices.
  • Equipping staff with the technical and social skills needed to enhance sales.
  • Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes.
  • Develop new sales strategies and models and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Remaining in tune with trends in consumption to ensure that our products remain relevant.
  • Research and identify new market opportunities.
  • Work with senior team members to identify and manage risks.
  • Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions.
  • Requirement:

  • Degree in marketing, business administration, or similar.
  • Extensive sales experience.
  • Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
  • Professional yet affable disposition.
  • Great networking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
  • Emboldened by challenges.
  • Open to travel and attend meetings with existing and prospective clients and vendors.
  • Ability to develop good relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in project management and/or sales.
  • Knowledge of productivity tools and software i.e., Microsoft Office among others.
  • High attention to detail and a focus on fact-based decision making.
  • Work well with senior management and provide relevant sales statistics for the growth of the company.
