Job Description
Own the relationship with a defined group of customers and be fully accountable and measured on the sales growth at those customers. This would involve providing pricing, sample follow up and Pipeline Opportunity updates.
The job holder is required to carry out activities like new business development, new product promotion and to identify and contact new prospects utilizing office-based software and equipment.
To contact customers in order to explain, promote, recommend Croda products and provide technical support within designated market and region. To coordinate projects and development work with customers.
To assist in the promotion of new and existing products by attending exhibitions, industry events and undertaking marketing projects as directed by sales management.
To maintain and grow business by developing appropriate contacts within the organisation (technical, marketing) and hand over accounts in an informed and measured way to sales representatives at appropriate times.
To answer all inbound website enquiries and registrations and be the rep on the Live Chat and share with the rest of the sales team. To support the follow up and report on success of leads generated from our website and various marketing activities.
To support the sales representatives with active promotion of new and existing marketing material and to create tools providing innovative new ways of presenting Croda products and insights.
Ensure all relevant customer contact and Opportunities are recorded in the CRM.
To undertake projects under the guidance of the sales manager which may be varied in nature.
Develop and maintain up to date relevant technical, regulatory, trend and market knowledge.
To update sales forecasts as required
