Job Description

Trading of Industrial LED lights, Electrical equipments like wires, Cables, switches etc.. Only project sales not retail... includes Field visits to industries with samples and closing order with technical and commercial discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identifying New Business Opportunities:

  • Research and identify potential markets, clients, and opportunities for business growth.

  • Proactively reach out to new prospects via phone calls, emails, and social media channels to generate leads.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify potential areas of business expansion.

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to establish relationships with potential clients.

2. Lead Generation and Qualification:

  • Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, referrals, and other channels.

  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs, budget, and decision-making process.

  • Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their requirements and pitch appropriate solutions.

  • Maintain a database of leads and opportunities, tracking their progress through the sales funnel.

3. Sales Presentations and Proposals:

  • Prepare and deliver customized presentations and proposals to potential clients.

  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to create persuasive sales materials, including presentations, case studies, and brochures.

  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and agreements with clients to close deals.

  • Follow up with clients after meetings to answer questions, clarify details, and move the sales process forward.

4. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients during the sales process and afterward, ensuring satisfaction with the company’s products or services.

  • Address and resolve client concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Ensure that all client interactions align with the company's brand values and quality standards.

5. Achieving Sales Targets:

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.

  • Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and progress towards sales goals.

  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to develop competitive strategies for achieving targets.

6. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and materials that support business development efforts.

  • Coordinate with the product or service teams to ensure that client requirements are communicated effectively and that products or services are delivered as per client expectations.

  • Provide feedback to management on market trends, client preferences, and competitive landscape to inform future business strategies.

7. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, meetings, and sales activities in CRM software.

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.

  • Provide forecasts and projections based on sales activities and pipeline status.
