Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, driven, and strategic Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our team. The primary responsibility of the BDE is to identify new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and convert leads into long-term revenue-generating accounts. This role plays a vital part in the growth and success of the company by expanding our client base and increasing overall sales performance.
The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a results-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This is a customer-facing role that combines elements of sales, marketing, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:

Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and services.

Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking, social media, field visits, and participation in events or trade shows.

Maintain and update a pipeline of prospective clients using CRM tools or lead management systems.
2. Client Engagement and Relationship Building:

Establish contact with potential customers to introduce the company’s products or services.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.

Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to key decision-makers.
3. Sales and Target Achievement:

Understand and promote the company’s products/services with clarity and confidence.

Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and service agreements based on client requirements.

Negotiate terms of contracts and close sales to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.

Collaborate with the internal team (operations, technical, marketing) to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
4. Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

Continuously study market trends, customer behavior, and competitor offerings to refine sales strategies.

Collect customer feedback and report on market intelligence to management.

Recommend improvements to product offerings and business models based on insights from the field.
5. Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of client interactions, negotiations, and deal status in the CRM system.

Prepare regular reports on sales activities, lead conversion, client feedback, and target progress.

Work closely with senior management to forecast sales and develop strategic growth plans.
6. Post-Sales Follow-up and Account Management:

Ensure customer satisfaction post-sale by coordinating with the support or service team.

Stay in touch with existing customers for renewals, upselling, and referrals.

Handle basic client concerns and escalate unresolved issues to senior team members.
