Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and generate new business leads through market research, networking, and
outbound/inbound channels
• Own specific accounts, regions, or industry segments independently from lead
generation to initial conversion
• Lead first-level discovery and requirement understanding before involving senior
stakeholders
• Assist in developing and executing business development strategies by reviewing lead
quality and suggest improvements to lead sourcing and qualification processes
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and business pitches for prospective clients
• Maintain and update CRM records with leads, opportunities, and client interactions
• Coordinate with internal teams to support deal closure
• Track sales metrics and prepare periodic reports
• Follow up with prospects to nurture relationships and move opportunities through the
sales funnel
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
• Support the BD Manager in pipeline planning, forecasting, and target tracking.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of the complete business development and sales lifecycle
• Good negotiation and persuasion abilities
• Basic understanding of sales processes and CRM tools
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills
• Experience working closely with presales or technical teams in IT services or software
companies
• Experience in B2B sales or service-based industries
• Familiarity with lead generation tools and digital marketing channels
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
