Job Description
Position Overview
A Business Development Executive plays a vital role in driving a company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring revenue generation. This position involves a mix of sales, marketing, networking, and strategy implementation to expand the company’s market reach and strengthen its competitive position.
The BDE acts as the first point of contact for potential clients, communicates the value proposition effectively, and works to convert leads into loyal customers. This role requires a proactive approach, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, target-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting

Research and identify potential clients through online platforms, industry events, and referrals.

Generate leads via cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and social media engagement.

Maintain and update a pipeline of potential opportunities for consistent follow-up.
2. Client Acquisition

Approach and engage prospective customers with tailored sales pitches.

Conduct meetings and presentations to showcase products or services.

Understand customer needs and offer solutions that align with their requirements.

Negotiate terms and close deals to meet sales targets.
3. Relationship Management

Develop and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing clients.

Provide excellent after-sales service to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

Monitor industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities.

Identify untapped market segments and recommend strategies to target them.

Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve offerings and services.
5. Collaboration with Internal Teams

Coordinate with the marketing team to design campaigns that support business goals.

Work closely with product and service delivery teams to ensure client expectations are met.

Share market insights with management to inform decision-making.
6. Reporting and Documentation

Maintain accurate records of all client communications and sales activities in CRM systems.

Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and target achievements.
