Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our growing team. The BDE will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets through strategic sales efforts.

This role requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, along with a passion for sales and business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the company's products or services, the ability to generate leads through various channels, and the confidence to present proposals and close deals with clients.

Whether it’s expanding into new markets, nurturing warm leads, or converting cold prospects into loyal clients, the Business Development Executive plays a crucial role in the company’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify potential clients through research, networking, cold calling, email campaigns, or social media outreach.

  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads using CRM tools or spreadsheets.

  • Develop strategies to approach new customers in assigned regions, industries, or market segments.

2. Client Communication & Relationship Building

  • Initiate and manage communication with prospective clients to understand their needs, budget, and business objectives.

  • Deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and proposals to potential clients.

  • Maintain regular follow-up with leads and existing clients to nurture relationships and drive future business.

3. Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Convert qualified leads into sales by negotiating terms, closing deals, and ensuring timely onboarding.

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets (monthly/quarterly/annually) through individual and team performance.

  • Upsell or cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients where applicable.

4. Market Research & Strategy

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and market shifts to identify new business opportunities.

  • Gather customer feedback to provide insights to the product and marketing teams for improvements or innovations.

  • Contribute to the development of pricing models, go-to-market strategies, and promotional campaigns.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, leads, proposals, and contracts using CRM software.

  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and share updates with team leads or senior management.

  • Participate in review meetings to evaluate progress and strategize for upcoming goals.

6. Collaboration

  • Work closely with the marketing, operations, and product teams to align client needs with internal offerings.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of onboarding, delivery, and customer support.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).

  • Sales Skills: Persuasive, confident, and target-driven with a strong ability to close deals.

  • Interpersonal: Strong relationship-building and customer engagement abilities.

  • Negotiation: Capable of managing objections and negotiating deals with clients effectively.

  • Presentation: Ability to deliver impactful business pitches and product demonstrations.

  • CRM Tools: Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or Excel for tracking sales performance.

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data and trends to inform business decisions.

  • Time Management: Prioritizing tasks and managing multiple leads and opportunities efficiently.
