About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the company's revenue growth.
The candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a proactive approach, and a strong understanding of sales and business development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through research, networking, field visits, referrals, cold calling, email outreach, and other channels.
- Generate, qualify, and manage leads throughout the sales pipeline.
- Contact prospective clients to understand their business needs and present suitable products or services.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct product/service presentations, meetings, and sales discussions with potential customers.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and business presentations.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients when required.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and convert qualified leads into customers.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new opportunities.
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to achieve business objectives.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and business development performance.
- Attend industry events, meetings, conferences, and networking activities when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- [0–3 years] of experience in business development, sales, client acquisition, or a related role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Good understanding of sales and lead-generation techniques.
- Ability to identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Strong follow-up and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings or business requirements, if needed.
