Business Development Executive
Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a smart, proactive, and enthusiastic Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our team. The BDE will be primarily responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential employers and clients across various categories, promoting the company's services, scheduling appointments, and supporting business meetings.
The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and a passion for building professional relationships. At times, the BDE will accompany the HOD or senior leadership to client meetings to support the negotiation and deal finalization process.
This role offers hands-on exposure to end-to-end B2B sales, client engagement, and strategic outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Outreach & Lead Generation

Identify and research potential employers and business partners across different sectors and industries.

Segment the target audience based on location, business category, hiring needs, and other criteria.

Reach out to prospects via cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.

Explain the company’s services clearly and convincingly to generate interest.
2. Service Promotion & Follow-ups

Present company offerings such as recruitment, staffing, consulting, or platform-based services based on client requirements.

Share relevant brochures, proposals, and service decks to decision-makers.

Regularly follow up with interested leads to move them through the business development pipeline.
3. Appointment Scheduling

Schedule and coordinate business meetings between potential clients and the HOD or senior sales team.

Maintain a calendar of appointments and ensure all parties are informed well in advance.

Brief the HOD or senior representative about the client's background before the meeting.
4. Meeting Participation & Transaction Support

Occasionally attend business meetings along with the HOD or senior management to observe and support final negotiations.

Take notes, prepare minutes of meetings (MOM), and ensure follow-ups are tracked.

Assist in sending agreements, onboarding documents, or post-meeting follow-up emails.
5. CRM & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of all outreach efforts, lead status, and meeting outcomes in the CRM or internal tools.

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on client communication and lead progress.

Coordinate with internal teams such as operations, HR, and delivery to ensure smooth handover after client acquisition.
