Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify and approach potential leads, fix appointments, and pitch the company’s products or services. The ideal candidate will play a key role in following up with leads, nurturing relationships, and driving the closure of deals by facilitating the signing of business contracts.
This is a highly target-driven role that requires strong interpersonal skills, professional communication abilities, and a keen interest in sales and relationship management. You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to generate and convert leads into long-term business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting

Identify potential leads through online research, networking, cold calling, and market analysis.

Use platforms such as LinkedIn, company databases, and CRM tools to find and evaluate new business opportunities.

Understand client requirements and qualify leads based on business fit.
2. Appointment Scheduling

Reach out to potential clients via phone calls, emails, or messaging to introduce the company’s offerings.

Schedule appointments and product/service demonstrations for senior sales personnel or yourself, depending on the sales structure.

Ensure smooth coordination and calendar management for client meetings.
3. Pitching and Presenting

Deliver clear and compelling sales presentations to potential clients.

Articulate the value proposition of the company’s solutions based on client needs.

Customize presentations or proposals based on client industry and expectations.
4. Follow-Up and Pipeline Management

Follow up with all leads after meetings to answer questions, clarify details, and maintain engagement.

Monitor the sales pipeline and provide timely updates on the progress of prospects.

Track all communication and progress in the CRM system.
5. Proposal & Contract Closure

Work with internal teams to draft customized proposals based on client needs.

Present proposals, address objections, and negotiate terms (with guidance from management if required).

Facilitate the signing of contracts and ensure timely onboarding of the client.
6. Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Act as a reliable point of contact for pre-sales and early post-sales queries.

Work collaboratively with account management and customer success teams after contract signing.
7. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain clear and accurate records of all interactions, appointments, and deal progress.

Prepare regular reports for management detailing lead status, conversion rates, and feedback received.

Track and share market intelligence and competitor activity.
