Position Summary:
The Business Development Executive – Architectural Segment is responsible for driving sales and brand presence within the architectural and interior design ecosystem. This field-based role requires engaging with architects, interior designers, contractors, and dealers, presenting products, conducting trainings, generating leads, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, and ensuring timely collections from clients.
The candidate should be well-versed in design trends, product specifications, and the decision-making processes of the architectural and construction community. The position also involves active participation in product launches, exhibitions, site visits, and marketing initiatives. A blend of technical knowledge, relationship management, and sales acumen is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Development & Lead Generation:

Identify and visit new and existing architects, interior designers, builders, project consultants, and dealers to build business relationships.

Present company offerings and introduce new product lines to key stakeholders.

Regularly conduct site visits to identify upcoming projects and gather information for potential leads.

Capture detailed project information, timelines, and decision-maker contact details.
2. Product Presentations & Trainings:

Deliver technical product presentations tailored to architects, interior firms, and contractor teams.

Conduct regular product training sessions for dealers, project supervisors, sales partners, and applicators to ensure product knowledge and brand awareness.

Provide design teams with product samples, brochures, and technical specifications.
3. Sales Process Management:

Manage the entire sales cycle—from lead identification, proposal creation, negotiation, order processing, to final closure.

Ensure timely follow-ups and proactive communication to convert leads into orders.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery and installation support (if applicable).
4. Client & Account Management:

Maintain regular communication with key clients, consultants, and decision-makers to nurture long-term relationships.

Provide after-sales support and handle customer queries, complaints, or technical concerns with professionalism.

Track client satisfaction and feedback to improve service quality.
5. Accounts Receivable Management:

Monitor outstanding payments from clients and ensure timely collections.

Resolve disputes related to invoicing, delivery, or product issues in coordination with finance and operations.

Maintain accurate records of client credit limits and payment schedules.
6. Product Launches & Marketing Activities:

Actively support and participate in new product launches, providing market feedback and customer insights.

Assist the marketing team in planning and executing promotional campaigns, dealer meets, architect engagement programs, and site demos.

Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events to network and generate brand awareness.
7. Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain daily/weekly reports of client visits, calls made, inquiries generated, and deals closed.

Update CRM systems with accurate customer and project data.

Submit periodic performance updates, forecasts, and competitor analysis to management.
