Business Development Executive
Job Description
- Penetrating potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
- Developing business proposals & pitches.
- Researching business opportunities
- Facilitating the entire BD process; lead generation, client meetings, building presentations, and negotiation/closing the client deals for self/company provided leads
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events to broaden networks
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients
- Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
- Proven experience in Business Development with experience in Selling of organizational services to start-ups & Corporate Clients
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:

Identify potential clients and business opportunities through research, networking, referrals, cold calling, and digital outreach.

Generate quality leads through outbound campaigns via phone, email, LinkedIn, and events.

Qualify leads based on their business potential and requirements, and enter them into the CRM system for tracking.
2. Client Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.

Understand client needs and provide relevant solutions based on company offerings.

Serve as the primary point of contact during the initial stages of client engagement.

Ensure timely follow-ups and regular communication with leads to nurture interest and trust.
3. Sales and Business Development Strategy:

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals and targets.

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, positioning, and promotional efforts.

Work closely with the sales team to support closing deals and achieving revenue goals.
4. Presentations and Pitches:

Prepare and deliver customized presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.

Explain the features, benefits, and value proposition of products/services clearly and confidently.

Participate in business meetings, trade shows, webinars, and other promotional activities to pitch solutions and represent the brand.
5. Reporting and CRM Management:

Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on lead status, conversions, and market feedback.

Track KPIs such as lead-to-conversion ratio, revenue generated, and client retention rate.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with marketing teams to execute campaigns that attract and engage potential customers.

Work with product development and operations teams to ensure client needs are met post-acquisition.

Provide client feedback to internal teams to improve product offerings or service quality.
