Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and goal-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our growing team. The BDE will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, developing client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth through effective sales strategies.
This role requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to acquiring clients. Whether engaging with businesses, institutions, or individual clients, the BDE plays a key role in representing the company’s brand, building credibility, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Conduct research to identify new market segments, customer needs, and potential clients.

Generate leads through cold calling, networking, social media platforms (LinkedIn), events, referrals, and digital campaigns.

Qualify leads by assessing client requirements, budget, authority, and timelines.
2. Client Engagement & Relationship Building

Reach out to potential clients via phone, email, or meetings to pitch company products/services.

Develop trust-based relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

Schedule and conduct product presentations, virtual demos, or in-person meetings as required.

Maintain regular follow-ups to move leads through the sales pipeline and ensure post-meeting engagement.
3. Proposal Development & Negotiation

Understand client requirements and create tailored proposals or quotations.

Present commercial offers with a focus on value and ROI for the client.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions while ensuring mutual benefit.

Work toward deal closures with a strong conversion focus.
4. Sales & Revenue Targets

Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned by management.

Maintain and update records of sales activities in CRM or internal systems.

Prepare periodic sales reports including pipeline status, prospect feedback, and forecast accuracy.

Identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.
5. Market & Competitor Analysis

Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitive offerings.

Collect feedback from prospects and clients to improve product-market fit.

Share market intelligence with internal teams to support product development and strategy.
6. Team Collaboration

Collaborate with the marketing team for lead generation campaigns, events, or promotions.

Coordinate with operations or technical teams for client onboarding, custom solutions, or demo support.

Participate in regular team meetings, reviews, and strategy discussions.
7. Client Onboarding & Handover

Ensure a smooth handover to the operations, delivery, or customer success teams after deal closure.

Provide necessary documentation, service agreements, and communication history for effective client servicing.

Act as a liaison during the initial stages of implementation or service delivery.
