Business Development Executive
Job Description
Duties and responsibilities:
- Identifying new business opportunities (e.g. IT/ IT Solution, GIS, surveillance services)
- Researching new markets and customers.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Setting goals for the business to achieve and monitoring input and development
- Building and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting

Identify potential clients through online research, cold calling, networking, referrals, and social media platforms like LinkedIn.

Qualify leads based on industry, business size, need, and purchasing capacity.

Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients using CRM tools.
2. Client Engagement and Relationship Management

Conduct meetings (in-person or virtual) with prospective clients to understand their business requirements.

Present company products, services, or solutions in a professional and persuasive manner.

Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
3. Sales and Revenue Generation

Work toward achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Prepare and send customized proposals, quotations, and business presentations.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements to close deals successfully.
4. Market Research and Analysis

Monitor industry trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and market dynamics.

Share insights with the management team to help refine marketing and sales strategies.

Suggest new markets or product/service modifications based on customer feedback and research.
5. Collaboration with Internal Teams

Coordinate with product, operations, and marketing teams to ensure client requirements are accurately delivered.

Provide feedback to internal departments to enhance service quality or product offerings.

Maintain detailed reports of sales activity, lead status, and progress updates.
6. Reporting and Documentation

Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, conversations, and client information in CRM systems.

Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management review.

Ensure all communication and contractual documentation is completed and stored properly.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, commerce or a related field.
· MBA in marketing or international business
· 0-2years of experience in business development, sales in IT industry preferable.
· Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
· Willingness to travel as needed (must have their own vehicle and Laptop).
