Position Overview

A Business Development Executive (BDE) plays a vital role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and promoting products or services to potential customers. The role involves a balance of lead generation, client engagement, market research, and sales strategy execution.

The BDE serves as the bridge between the company and its clients, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet customer needs while aligning with business goals. This position is ideal for professionals who are self-motivated, target-driven, and passionate about achieving results in competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify potential customers through market research, cold calling, networking, events, and online platforms.

  • Develop a robust pipeline of qualified leads by reaching out to businesses, decision-makers, and stakeholders.

  • Use tools such as CRM systems, LinkedIn, and digital marketing campaigns to generate new leads.

2. Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Approach prospective clients, schedule meetings, and present company offerings in a professional and persuasive manner.

  • Understand client requirements and customize solutions to match their business needs.

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

3. Sales Presentations & Negotiation

  • Deliver impactful sales presentations, product demos, and proposals to potential customers.

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to maximize value for both clients and the company.

  • Close deals efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies.

4. Market Research & Strategy

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.

  • Provide insights and feedback to senior management regarding new opportunities, potential risks, and customer needs.

  • Assist in developing sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and business expansion plans.

5. Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales efforts with organizational goals.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of solutions for clients.

  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and training workshops to continuously improve performance.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and deal progress in CRM systems.

  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly sales reports to management.

  • Track KPIs such as lead conversion rate, revenue generated, and customer retention.

  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office, Google Workspace, and online networking platforms.

  • Ability to create compelling presentations and proposals.
