Job Description
Job Summary:
A Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for driving company growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and converting leads into successful sales. This role requires a proactive, target-driven individual with strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for sales and relationship building.
The BDE plays a crucial role in increasing revenue by generating new leads, promoting the company’s products or services, conducting market research, and maintaining long-term relationships with both existing and potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:

Identify and research potential clients, markets, and industries to target.

Generate leads through cold calling, emailing, networking, referrals, social media, and attending industry events.

Use CRM tools to track leads, interactions, and follow-ups.
2. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

Reach out to prospective clients and understand their business needs and challenges.

Conduct meetings (in-person or virtual) to present company offerings, solutions, and value propositions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
3. Sales and Revenue Generation:

Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches, presentations, and proposals.

Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to close sales deals.

Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
4. Market Research and Business Intelligence:

Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.

Analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and campaign results to refine strategy.

Provide insights and suggestions for product/service improvements or new offerings based on client needs.
5. Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospects, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM software or spreadsheets.

Prepare regular reports on sales performance, lead conversion, and business growth.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and post-sale customer experience.
6. Cross-functional Coordination:

Coordinate with marketing, operations, and product teams for lead nurturing, campaign planning, and service delivery.

Provide client feedback to relevant departments for continuous improvement.

Support marketing initiatives like email campaigns, webinars, and digital ads.
