About the Internship:
We are seeking a motivated, smart, and energetic Business Development Intern to join our growing team. This internship is ideal for candidates who are passionate about sales, market strategy, customer interaction, and startup growth. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, engaging potential clients or partners, and supporting the sales pipeline under mentorship and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Research and identify potential clients through platforms such as LinkedIn, JustDial, IndiaMART, Clutch, and others.

Gather data and compile prospect lists based on target industries or customer segments.

Assist in outbound outreach via emails, LinkedIn messaging, or cold calling (if applicable).

Qualify leads by evaluating interest, needs, and decision-making authority.
2. Client Communication & Engagement

Support the business development team in scheduling meetings, calls, and product demos.

Communicate with prospective clients to explain company services or product offerings.

Prepare introductory materials, pitch decks, proposals, and follow-up documents.

Maintain a professional and persuasive tone in verbal and written communication.
3. CRM & Pipeline Management

Log and manage all leads, contacts, and activities in the CRM tool or spreadsheet tracker.

Track follow-ups, responses, and deal progression.

Generate reports on daily/weekly outreach activities, responses, and conversions.
4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

Study target industries, customer pain points, and emerging trends to support outreach strategies.

Monitor competitor offerings, pricing models, and customer feedback online.

Share insights with the sales and marketing teams for strategic planning.
5. Support in Business Development Campaigns

Assist in executing marketing campaigns, webinars, emailers, or lead nurturing workflows.

Participate in internal brainstorming sessions to refine sales pitches and GTM (Go-To-Market) approaches.

Work cross-functionally with marketing and product teams to understand the service and value proposition better.
