Job Description
Location: Chennai (Full time – Onsite)
Experience: Fresh MBA. Pre-MBA experience will be an added advantage
Duration: 6 months
A fixed monthly stipend will be offered. On successful completion of internship with good performance and feedback, you will be absorbed as a permanent employee in the team as deemed fit.
Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our team and support our sales and account management activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn about B2B SaaS sales, client engagement, and relationship management in a high-growth environment. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to client interactions, account growth strategies, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Deliverables
Connect with existing clients to understand their ongoing business requirements and gather insights
Present product features and enhancements effectively to clients to ensure they fully leverage our platform’s capabilities
Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional modules and services and coordinate follow-through with the sales team
Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders to drive retention and account growth
Participate in client meetings, demos, and review sessions; follow up on action items and track progress
Coordinate internally with Product, Support, and Implementation teams to ensure timely resolution of client queries and issues
Maintain accurate client records, update CRM tools, and prepare regular reports on account status and opportunities
Contribute ideas to enhance customer experience and share client feedback for product and process improvements
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to position our solutions effectively
Required Qualifications
Fresh MBA graduates specializing in Sales, Marketing, or related disciplines
Positive attitude, high energy, and a genuine interest in understanding customer needs and driving growth
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Highly self-motivated with problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
Eagerness to learn and grow in B2B SaaS sales and account management
Proactive, organized, and comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, etc.) is an advantage
Regular travel for client meetings and industry events is mandatory
