Job Description
- Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, emails, and market research
Identify potential clients and decision-makers within target companies
Pitch products/services effectively and build strong client relationships
Negotiate pricing, terms, and close business deals
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and follow-ups
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation

Research potential clients and industries using online tools such as LinkedIn, company directories, and search engines.

Build and update a qualified leads database using Excel or CRM software.

Identify new sales opportunities and market segments based on data.
2. Client Outreach and Communication

Assist in drafting and sending cold emails, LinkedIn messages, and introductory communications.

Follow up with leads through emails, phone calls, or virtual meetings under supervision.

Maintain a polite and professional communication tone at all times.
3. Market and Competitor Research

Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and industry insights.

Prepare summary reports to support strategic planning and campaign decisions.

Identify potential gaps and suggest areas for growth or improvement.
4. CRM and Data Management

Update client interactions and lead statuses in CRM tools like Zoho, HubSpot, or Salesforce.

Maintain clear and accurate records of business development activities.

Ensure timely follow-up and data hygiene.
5. Sales Support

Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and basic pricing sheets.

Help create pitch decks, marketing material, or introductory documents for client meetings.

Attend internal strategy meetings and offer fresh ideas and input.
6. Reporting and Analytics

Prepare weekly reports on lead generation efforts, outreach effectiveness, and new opportunities.

Track conversion metrics (e.g., leads contacted, responses, meetings scheduled).

Suggest process improvements based on collected data and observations.
7. Event & Campaign Participation

Support business development events, webinars, or client engagement campaigns.

Help in organizing logistics, registrations, or post-event follow-ups.

Engage with attendees or partners during events under team supervision.
