Internship Opportunity – Business Development Intern (BDE Intern)
Duration: 3 Months + Job Offer (Internship
performance based)
Eligibility: Final-year students or recent graduates
Stipend: 7-8K
(Immediate Joiners Preferred.
Requirements:
· Basic understanding of IT services
· Familiarity with LinkedIn, Apollo, and business communication
· Willingness to learn and grow in a tech-focused sales environment
We will provide structured training, mentoring, and hands-on experience to help interns develop a strong foundation in client acquisition, lead generation, and market research.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Research and Lead Generation

Conduct research to identify new market opportunities, potential customer segments, and industry trends.

Build and maintain a database of potential clients and business leads using LinkedIn, online directories, databases, and other tools.

Qualify leads by gathering key business information and analyzing the potential fit with company offerings.

Research and identify decision-makers within target companies.
2. Client Outreach and Engagement

Assist in creating and executing email campaigns, LinkedIn messaging, and follow-ups for outbound lead generation.

Draft and customize introductory emails and proposals to pitch products or services to prospective clients.

Schedule calls or meetings for business development executives and management with qualified leads.

Attend initial client meetings (in-person or virtual) when applicable to observe and learn.
3. CRM and Data Management

Update and manage lead and client data in the company’s CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce).

Track communication history and status of leads in the pipeline.

Maintain organized records of outreach activities, contact information, follow-up status, and outcomes.

Assist in generating weekly reports on lead generation performance, client feedback, and outreach effectiveness.
4. Sales & Proposal Support

Assist in preparing presentations, pitch decks, and business proposals tailored to prospective clients.

Help in responding to inbound leads and coordinating with internal teams for technical or pricing information.

Support the drafting of quotations, contracts, and follow-up communication under supervision.

Analyze customer requirements and align offerings to business needs.
5. Collaboration & Strategy

Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategy discussions.

Contribute fresh ideas for growth, partnerships, campaigns, or client acquisition tactics.

Collaborate with marketing teams to align outreach efforts with ongoing promotional campaigns or brand messaging.

Monitor competitor activities and suggest areas where the company can differentiate or improve.
6. Learning and Development

Attend internal training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, market trends, and soft skills.

Shadow business development executives and senior leadership during sales calls or presentations.

Gain a clear understanding of the company’s business model, target audience, and industry landscape.

Take initiative in learning tools such as CRM systems, proposal generators, business databases, and analytics tools.
