Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and target-driven Business Development Manager to lead client acquisition, account growth, and relationship management for our full-service advertising agency based in Mumbai. Our agency specializes in delivering creative advertising solutions to top FMCG companies, including the manufacturing of all types of advertising materials, and also holds expertise in in-film advertising and brand integration in regional movies.
This role is perfect for someone with a solid understanding of corporate branding needs, ATL/BTL marketing strategies, and a strong network in both the corporate (especially FMCG) and entertainment/media industries. You will play a key role in expanding our client base, identifying new opportunities, and presenting integrated advertising solutions across print, digital, on-ground, and film-based media.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Acquisition:

Identify, approach, and convert potential clients, particularly FMCG brands and corporate clients, looking for advertising support.

Generate leads and pursue business opportunities in sectors where physical branding materials and film integrations are in demand.

Prepare compelling pitch presentations, marketing proposals, and business decks tailored to client objectives.
2. Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers in marketing, brand management, and procurement departments of FMCG companies and other industries.

Serve as a point of contact between the agency and the client for ongoing campaigns, product sampling events, promotional material development, and more.

Ensure client satisfaction through timely communication, delivery updates, and solution-oriented servicing.
3. Advertising Materials & Production Sales:

Promote the agency’s manufacturing and production capabilities for advertising materials such as in-store branding, POSM (point of sale materials), product packaging, banners, signage, display stands, kiosk materials, gift items, and more.

Coordinate with internal production teams and vendors to ensure material quality, timelines, and cost efficiency.

Understand industry trends and keep clients updated on innovative advertising formats or material options.
4. In-Film Advertising & Integration:

Identify suitable regional films (Marathi, Gujarati, South Indian, Bhojpuri, etc.) for product placements and brand integrations.

Coordinate with film producers, content creators, and studios for strategic brand placement in scenes or storylines.

Pitch in-film advertising options to existing and new clients, offering end-to-end solutions from integration planning to execution and post-release promotion.

Stay updated on upcoming film projects, shooting schedules, and influencer-driven media collaborations.
5. Strategy & Market Intelligence:

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the advertising and film marketing sectors.

Develop and recommend marketing strategies based on client goals and industry insights.

Contribute to the development of new service offerings based on market demands and client feedback.
6. Collaboration & Internal Coordination:

Work closely with the creative, production, media buying, and event teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.

Liaise with printing vendors, fabrication units, event agencies, and regional film representatives as required.

Ensure all proposals are technically and commercially viable before presentation to clients.
Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong experience in B2B business development, preferably in advertising, branding, media, or print production.

Deep understanding of the FMCG marketing ecosystem, brand visibility requirements, and activation strategies.

Familiarity with in-film branding, media planning, and regional entertainment landscapes.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and generate new revenue streams.

Strong networking abilities and industry contacts in both corporate and film/media industries.
