Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Acquisition:
- Identify, onboard, and manage vendor partners (farmers, producers, logistics partners).
- Build strong vendor relationships ensuring compliance with quality and sustainability standards.
- Sales Team Management:
- Hire, train, and lead a high-performing sales team focused on vendor acquisition and partner onboarding.
- Develop and execute training programs to ensure team efficiency and consistency.
- Business Development Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategies to scale vendor partnerships and expand market presence.
- Identify new market opportunities and build pipelines for growth.
- Performance Tracking:
- Monitor sales targets, KPIs, and vendor engagement metrics.
- Report progress and optimize strategies based on data insights
Desired Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in business development, vendor acquisition, or sales (preferably in AgriTech, FMCG, or Retail sectors).
- Experience in team hiring, training, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Passion for sustainability, organic farming, or agri-entrepreneurship is a plus
