Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive company growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and leading initiatives that support our revenue and market expansion goals.
As a BDM, you will play a key role in developing and executing strategies to acquire new clients, explore new markets, and foster long-term partnerships. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to deliver value-driven solutions tailored to client needs.
This position is ideal for a high-performing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a strong background in B2B/B2C sales, market development, and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development Strategy

Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.

Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, target industries, and new business prospects.

Set short-term and long-term revenue targets and work toward achieving or exceeding them.
2. Client Acquisition & Lead Generation

Identify, qualify, and pursue new business leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, inbound queries, and digital platforms like LinkedIn.

Initiate and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, including preparing proposals, conducting presentations, and negotiating contracts.

Maintain a healthy pipeline of potential clients and consistently convert prospects into customers.
3. Relationship Management

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers within client organizations.

Ensure client satisfaction through regular follow-ups, timely communication, and value-added services.

Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, offering ongoing support and exploring opportunities for account expansion.
4. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment

Collaborate with internal teams—especially marketing, product, operations, and finance—to tailor solutions based on customer requirements.

Work closely with the pre-sales and technical teams to deliver customized presentations and product demonstrations.

Provide valuable feedback from the field to assist in improving product offerings, pricing models, and customer experience.
5. Market Expansion

Explore new markets, verticals, and geographies for potential business opportunities.

Evaluate partnerships, alliances, and reseller models to strengthen the company's market position.

Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, trade shows, and business forums to build brand awareness and establish networks.
6. Reporting & Forecasting

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions using CRM tools.

Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on sales performance, forecasts, competitor activities, and market feedback.

Provide timely updates to management on progress toward business goals and potential risks.
