Job Description

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a pivotal role in building partnerships with schools and colleges, conducting awareness programs, and guiding students and parents towards choosing the right career path through our academy’s initiatives. This role is both relationship-driven and target-oriented, requiring strong interpersonal, presentation, and networking skills to achieve enrollment and outreach goals. 

Key Responsibilities 

School & College Outreach 
• Regularly visit schools and colleges to introduce our academic programs and initiatives. 
• Build long-term relationships with principals, management, faculty, and student coordinators. 
• Facilitate MoUs/partnership agreements for institutional collaboration. 

Seminars, Workshops & Guidance Programs 
• Conduct career guidance sessions, awareness talks, and orientation programs for students and parents. 
• Organize large-scale seminars and college fests in collaboration with institutions. 
• Ensure high-quality delivery of information sessions, creating trust and credibility. Lead 
Generation & Student Counseling 
• Generate leads through seminars, career fests, and referral activities. 
• Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions for students and parents regarding courses, exams, and career paths. 
• Support the admissions team in converting leads to enrollments.
 
Target Achievement  
• Achieve monthly targets for enrollments, school/college tie-ups, and outreach activities. 
• Track and report performance metrics (seminars conducted, leads generated, enrollments achieved). 
• Suggest region-specific strategies based on field insights and competition. Relationship Management & Institutional Support 
• Maintain continuous engagement with partner schools/colleges through periodic visits and updates. 
• Provide institutions with academic/career resources and ensure sustained collaboration. 
• Act as the primary point of contact for school/college stakeholders.
 
Monthly Target & Incentive Structure 
• Institutional Outreach: Visit a minimum of 80-100 schools/colleges per month. 
• Seminars/Programs: Conduct at least 20–25 seminars or workshops monthly. 
• Lead Generation: Achieve a minimum of 200- 500 qualified leads per month. 
• Enrollments:Secure50+enrollments per month (customizable to your structure). 

Incentives: 
• 100% Target Achievement: Eligible for monthly performance bonus. 
• Above100%: Additional10%incentive on incremental enrollments. 
• Quarterly Recognition: Top performers awarded at regional/state level. 

Key Skills & Competencies 
• Strong communication, public speaking & counseling skills. 
• Ability to engage with students, parents, and educators effectively. 
• Proven track record in sales/business development in the education sector. 
• Organized, proactive, and target-focused. 
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region. 

Qualifications & Experience 
• Graduate/Postgraduate (Education/Business/Marketing preferred). 
• 2–5 years of experience in education sales, admissions, or institutional outreach. 
• Prior experience in handling school/college partnerships is always a plus.
• Comfortable with MSOffice ,presentation tools.
