Job Description
QuikSip is a product brand of Brewease Food Products LLP, a Chennai-based startup re-imagining how beverages are consumed. It offers instant, high-quality organic tea & coffee in pre-filled cups that require nothing but hot or cold water. Their mission is “wellness made convenient” through innovation in packaging and convenience.
Given the growth ambitions — both within India and into international markets (GCC, Africa, South-East Asia, etc) — this role will be instrumental.
The Business Development Manager will lead the strategy and execution of market expansion efforts. They will identify, evaluate and secure new channel partnerships, geographic territories, and key accounts (corporate, HORECA, retail, institutional). They will drive revenue growth, build relationships, and open new markets for QuikSip’s product portfolio (instant masala tea, lemon tea, green tea, milk tea, black coffee etc).
Key Responsibilities-
Identify new business opportunities: geographic territories (new Indian states, international markets), sector opportunities (HORECA, corporate workplaces, institutions, modern retail).

Develop and implement go-to-market plans for each target region / channel — including market research, competitor landscape, regulatory & distribution logistics.

Build and manage relationships with channel partners, distributors, bulk buyers, regional chain stores, corporates, hospitality chains etc.

Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, channel incentives, pricing models, margin structures.

Work closely with marketing, product, supply chain & operations teams to ensure market readiness (packaging, labeling, regulatory compliance, logistics) for new launches.

Monitor performance of new markets/channels: revenue, units sold, margin, customer feedback, retention, channel health. Set and achieve targets (monthly/quarterly/annual).

Provide insights and feedback from the field: customer needs, competitor moves, product adaptation suggestions, regional preferences.

Track and manage pipeline of business opportunities, report status to senior management.

Ensure brand consistency and service delivery across all channels and markets.

Participate in trade shows, industry conferences, export/ import fairs, business networking.

Work with product development/R&D to tailor offerings for new markets (e.g., international tastes, labeling standards, organic certifications).

New markets entered (number of states / countries) within defined time-frames.

Number of new channel partners/distributors signed.

Revenue growth from new markets/channels.

Profit margin achieved on deals.

Retention/renewal rate of key accounts.

Time to market (from partner identification to first sale) for new region.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management. MBA preferred or Any Graduation Equivalent

0 TO 3 years (or more) of business development experience in FMCG / food & beverage / consumer packaged goods — ideally with experience in tea/coffee or beverages.

Proven track record of opening new markets/channels, preferably international expansion or newer states within India.

Strong network in distribution, retail, HORECA or corporate consumables across India or export markets.

Excellent negotiation, communication & interpersonal skills. Comfortable with contract discussions & stakeholder management.

Strategic thinker, market researcher, able to interpret data & convert into action.

Ability to work across cross-functional teams: supply chain, operations, marketing, product.

Comfortable working in a start-up environment: agile, self-driven, hands-on, adaptable.

Willingness to travel (domestic & international) for partner meetings, trade shows, market visits.

Familiarity with export regulations, international markets, customs, labeling and certifications preferred if targeting GCC/Africa/SE Asia.

Passion for wellness / organic food & beverage sector.

Understanding of alternative packaging innovation (given QuikSip’s unique product: pre-filled tea/coffee cups with no steeping)

Multilingual / cross-cultural awareness if targeting international markets.

Analytical mindset: comfortable with forecasting, pipeline management, CRM tools.

Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable building processes from scratch, scaling fast.

This role reports to the VP/Head of Business Development or Managing Director of QuikSip.

Works closely with: Marketing & Brand Team, Product & R&D, Supply Chain & Logistics, Finance, Export/Compliance team.

Will collaborate with the founding team to shape strategic expansion directions.

Based in Chennai (or other major metro) with flexibility to travel across India and internationally as per business requirements
