Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and closing high-value deals across target markets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B/B2C sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This role is strategic and hands-on, requiring deep market understanding, prospecting expertise, and effective deal execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Opportunity Identification:

Research and analyze market trends, industry developments, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.

Study competitor strategies, pricing models, and value propositions to gain market intelligence.

Identify and evaluate potential clients, business partners, and growth channels in line with organizational goals.
2. Lead Generation and Prospecting:

Develop and implement effective strategies for generating leads through multiple channels including networking, digital outreach, cold calling, referrals, and industry events.

Qualify leads based on business fit, need, budget, and decision-making authority.

Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects using CRM systems and continuously work to convert them into active clients.
3. Client Engagement and Relationship Building:

Initiate contact with prospective clients to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions.

Present the company’s products/services professionally through meetings, video calls, presentations, and product demos.

Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers at target companies.
4. Sales and Revenue Generation:

Own the full sales cycle: from lead qualification, proposal development, negotiation, to deal closure.

Prepare and deliver customized proposals, quotations, and sales agreements based on client requirements.

Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets, monthly quotas, and quarterly revenue goals.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with marketing teams to align campaigns with business development goals.

Collaborate with product and operations teams to ensure solution feasibility and smooth client onboarding.

Provide feedback to internal teams on client needs, product improvements, and market gaps.
6. Reporting and Forecasting:

Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities, prospect interactions, and pipeline status in CRM.

Generate periodic reports on business development progress, KPIs, sales conversions, and revenue forecasts.

Analyze metrics to improve strategy and productivity continuously.
7. Brand Representation:

Represent the company at networking events, conferences, expos, webinars, and other business forums.

Uphold the company’s image and values while communicating with potential partners or clients.

Educate potential clients about the company’s solutions, differentiators, and unique value proposition.
