Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to drive business growth in the transportation sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities with transporters and truck owners, primarily focusing on relationship building and market expansion within the designated region. This role requires significant fieldwork, relationship management, and a keen understanding of market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business prospects in alignment with the company’s HUB and Spoke model, reporting directly to the Growth Champion.
Initiate and maintain contact with prospective transporters and truckers (truck owners) through cold calling and in-person visits to foster new business relationships.
Travel extensively (up to 70% of the time) within the assigned region to enhance market coverage and drive business growth.
Establish and nurture key relationships with transporters and truckers, identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
Build a detailed understanding of local transporter and trucker contacts to support business expansion.
Regularly engage with transporters and truckers to stay informed on shifting market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
Gather and share all required documentation for the onboarding process of transporters and truckers, ensuring seamless transactions.
Assist transporters and truckers in effectively utilizing our mobile app, offering guidance to improve their user experience.
Ensure timely collection of advance and balance payments from transporters, ensuring smooth financial transactions.
Provide valuable business insights to the management team to help refine company strategies, policies, and processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong communication skills in both Hindi and English (verbal and written).
Goal-driven and results-oriented mindset.
Proven ability to build rapport and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
Experience in the logistics sector is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office and general IT applications.
Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities.
High energy, enthusiasm, and a sincere approach to work.
Educational Requirements:
Minimum qualification of 10+2; Graduation preferred.
1-3 years of experience in Business Development or Sales.
Male candidates preferred.
Must have access to a reliable two-wheeler with a working speedometer.
