Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Sales Intern to join our growing team. As a Sales Intern, you will work closely with the business development team to identify new business opportunities, support the sales pipeline, and assist in client outreach. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Research and identify potential clients through various channels (online platforms, industry events, social media, etc.).

Create and maintain a database of qualified leads using CRM tools or spreadsheets.

Assist in the outreach process via cold calls, emails, or LinkedIn messages to initiate conversations.
2. Sales Support

Assist the sales team in day-to-day tasks such as follow-ups, scheduling meetings, and preparing pitch decks or proposals.

Draft introductory emails and help customize templates for client communication.

Participate in client meetings or discovery calls (as needed) and take notes for internal use.
3. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

Conduct basic industry research to understand market trends and customer needs.

Monitor competitor activities and identify potential areas of differentiation.

Compile reports and insights to support sales presentations and strategy planning.
4. CRM and Database Management

Update and maintain lead and customer information in the CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or spreadsheets).

Track lead status and follow-up actions to ensure the sales pipeline is active and organized.
5. Collaboration and Strategy

Work with the marketing team to align outreach strategies with ongoing campaigns.

Share feedback from prospects to help improve product messaging and offerings.

Suggest improvements or new ideas for lead generation and customer engagement.
6. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare weekly reports on outreach activities, lead conversion rates, and pending tasks.

Help document standard sales processes and templates to improve internal efficiency.
