About Trashcon Labs Private Limited
We have created the first-ever 'municipal solid waste segregator' that can segregate any kind of mixed waste which otherwise gets dumped into landfills and on our streets as there is not enough land anymore. Trashbot (MSW Segregator) converts this 'trash' into biodegradable waste that can be easily composted, non-biodegradable waste comprising mainly of plastics that can be recycled, metals, and rejects to the efficiency of more than 98%. And this it can do instantly and in tons of capacity. We are in the top 5 most innovative startups by the Israel Embassy, the top 30 startups by Economic Times, the top 100 most innovative companies in Karnataka, the top 10 most innovative companies by the UNDP, and our machines are being supplied nation-wide.
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Managing and developing customer relationships and requirements, pitching the product, forecasting sales potential, developing business case studies, proposals, & presentations based on the requirement, following-up, and finalizing deals
2. Writing standard and customized emails based on the client and talk to customers with the intention of not selling the machine but to create an impact and showcase that impact with their waste management practice
3. Maintaining databases of clients/potential clients from government, B2B and partners/dealers; prioritizing and regularly following-up for updates, assisting requirements and updating it on a periodic basis
4. Strategizing go-to-market plan and viability for new products by analyzing the market in-depth and backing with on field real time requirement and feasibility.
5. Expanding to new markets and forming key partnerships in all states of India and other developing countries
6. Updating social media on our latest updates and achievements on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter
7. Communicating with other leads generated through organic sites such as IndiaMart, TradeIndia, website enquires, and website contact number
8. Watching out for new events for startups or sustainability initiatives and applying for grants, funds, and other programs
