About the internship
To be successful as a sales intern you should be an inspired self-starter and able to drive sales growth. Ultimately, a top-notch sales intern should be able to build rapport with customers and close sales.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Developing a business development strategy focused on financial gain
2. Researching prospects and generating leads
3. Contacting potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in-person
4. Preparing and sending quotes and proposals
5. Keeping a record of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
6. Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
7. Preparing and delivering appropriate presentations on products and services
8. Negotiating/Closing deals and handling complaints or objections
9. Researching and recommending prospects for new business opportunities
10. Building and maintaining professional networks

Other requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or relevant field
2. Proven experience in sales or relevant sales role would be a plus
3. Excellent customer service and sales skills
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills
5. Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
6. Proficiency in English
7. Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
