About part time job/internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Making a database of NGOs that can be approached for collaboration with AAH
2. Assisting in preparing communications materials - presentation, brochure, WhatsApp images, etc.
3. Sending the communications to relevant people at government agencies/hospitals and following up for appointments/meetings
4. Helping arrange in-person or online events such as seminars with NGO workers where the work done at AAH can be clearly communicated
5. Developing case studies and other collateral to show the impact of our work
6. Making regular posting on social media to maintain the profile of the hospital

Aakar Asha Hospital is a charitable hospital that provides reconstructive surgery to patients suffering from birth defects, burns, industrial accidents or road accident trauma cases, or those requiring reconstructive surgery after cancer tumor excision. It is a 130-bed hospital located on Kukatpally main road in Hyderabad, well accessible by metro and bus. The hospital treats patients from across the country and has dormitory accommodation for the attendants of the patients as well. All the services are entirely free of charge to the patient.
The hospital was established in 2013 and is a custom-built facility. It is a part of the Narsingh Swain Memorial Trust. Over 4000 surgeries have been completed at the hospital since it started. The hospital takes up surgeries to correct birth defects such as cleft lip and palate, burns deformities, accident trauma on hand and face, and tumors due to cancer of the head and neck.
