Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring that a million people celebrate the festival in Mumbai
2. Conceptualizing, designing, and implementing public events and activity ideas for mass participation in the festival
3. Meeting several new organizations/institutions and previous participants, and engaging them in DaanUtsav celebrations (this includes corporates (CEOs, CXOs, HR and CSR heads, and managers), schools and colleges (principals and senior teachers), senior government officials (senior police and municipal corporation officers, senior executives in government enterprises, secretaries, directors of government departments)
4. Scheduling and helping organize volunteer meets, including logistics, keeping minutes, and following up on the tasks agreed by volunteers in each city
5. Assisting volunteers in the city in helping scale up DaanUtsav participation
6. Brainstorming on new ideas for mass participation
7. Scheduling and organizing NGO/corporate workshops or such meets to propagate the festival and getting larger participation
8. Compiling and creating with help, suitable collateral for use - presentations, mailers, documents
9. Posting updates on the website, social media and coordinating with local media where required
10. Handling any other task assigned by the mentor or volunteers of the city from time to time
