Key Responsibilities
1. Market Research & Analysis
-
Conduct detailed research on potential clients, competitors, and market trends.

Identify new business opportunities in target markets or industries.

Collect and analyze data to assist in the development of sales strategies and plans.

Prepare market intelligence reports and industry snapshots.
2. Lead Generation
-
Generate leads through online research, social media platforms (LinkedIn, etc.), email campaigns, and cold outreach.

Qualify prospects based on industry, need, budget, and decision-making authority.

Maintain a database of leads in the CRM system or spreadsheets.

Follow up on inbound inquiries and set appointments for business development executives.
3. Client Engagement & Support
-
Support the business development team in preparing proposals, pitch decks, and presentations.

Assist in scheduling client meetings and coordinating communication between internal and external stakeholders.

Participate in client calls or meetings to take notes and provide follow-up support.

Help respond to basic client queries and provide information about products/services.
4. Sales & CRM Support
-
Update and maintain customer data in the company’s CRM tool.

Track engagement metrics and follow-up timelines for prospects and leads.

Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth handover and pipeline tracking.

Assist in documenting sales processes and preparing weekly progress reports.
5. Content & Marketing Coordination (Optional)

Contribute to writing outreach emails, social media messages, or website content as needed.

Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional campaigns and feedback collection.

Assist in organizing virtual webinars, product demos, or business events.
