Job Description:
- Responsible for major BI projects or common shareable reports across several projects.
- Working with cross-functional teams, you will participate to gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs.
- Translates business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources.
- Provides support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users.
- Ensures proper configuration management and change controls are implemented for your sphere of influence.
- Provides training and assistance to users for the generation of ad-hoc reports.
- Designs and implements technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes.
Technical Skills:
- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google)
- Data Virtualization (Tableau, Qlik, Microsoft BI, Spotfire)
- Database (Sql Server / MySQL, MongoDB / CouchDB)
- ETL/Analysis Tools (MS SSIS, SSRS, SSAR, Informatica)
- OLAP – cubes
- Data Modeling (Erwin/Visio)
- Programming Language (R, C#, Python, Java, Ruby, Pearl)
- Operating Systems (Windows, Unix/Linux)
- Project Management Tools (JIRA, Basecamp, GIThub, SVN)
Personal Skills:
- Excellent English language communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to build strong working relationships.
- Ability to facilitate change management with teams.
- Experience in the full project delivery life cycles
- Good team player
