Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assisting with supplier research and evaluation to identify potential vendors
2. Comparing prices, quality, and delivery times of products or services from different suppliers
3. Helping to negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and conditions
4. Assisting in the creation and maintenance of purchase orders and procurement documentation
5. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
6. Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with inventory management
7. Conducting market research to stay updated on industry trends and supplier offerings
8. Assisting with supplier relationship management, including resolving any issues or disputes that may arise
9. Supporting the purchasing team in various administrative tasks and projects
