Job Description
Assists in the development of discipline project documentation and design data records. Assure consistency and quality in the Design / Drafting Drawing Package.
• Coordinate design management with Engineering Discipline Lead Engineers
• Completing design works on time using relevant design methods, company standards and specifications and data in line with Project requirements.
• Reports on work status/ problem areas/ needs. Track drawing progress, studies, co-ordination and any other design tasks not tied directly to deliverables. Manage design deliverables issue and transmittal records.
• Familiar with Company drafting standards and procedures and support the Senior Manager in interpretation and implementation of said standards and procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of engineering practices, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
• From Design / Drafting point of view, review as-built drawings and assist with collection of design information.
• Maintain and file discipline project documentation (engineering sketches, Drawings, studies etc.) and design data records.
• Collating internal discipline check (IDC) Engineering reviews and Client review / comments issue.
• Interface with other disciplines as required. Attend project meetings as applicable and keep notes.
• Provide training of CAD (Microstation/AutoCAD) to other CAD staff as required.
• Reports on work status/ problem areas/ needs.
