Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following the café’s menu and seasonal offerings.

Design and update menu items in collaboration with the café management.

Manage food inventory, place orders, and reduce food waste.

Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.

Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive team environment.

Monitor portion control, quality of ingredients, and presentation.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or similar role in a café, bistro, or restaurant setting.

Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen management.

Creativity and passion for food with an eye for presentation and detail.

Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays.

Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene (preferred or required, depending on local regulations).
