About Company
The Indian Iris, a venture supported by CIIE at IIM Ahemdabad, and incubated at TIEDS at IIT Roorkee via Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
The Indian Iris was founded a two years ago to create awareness about government programs, and policies to create increased demand pull for the govt programs. We started as a small website but with larger mission. Today, our portal, receives more than 300,000 page views every month, where more than 60,000 users read the aggregated and simplified information on government policies and programs.
We aggregate and simplify Information on all govt policies and schemes, build Awareness via innovative campaigns (online+offline) and then offer Services to deliver benefits of govt policies, schemes and programs to the citizens & businesses. Overall result is an increased demand pull for the government programs. We proudly call it 'I.A.S Framework' ('Information, Awareness, & Services' Framework©). We use partner network to complete the last leg of our Service Layer.
On Jan 26, 2017, we launched a campaigned called 'Har-Ghar, Solar' to promote use of solar energy among residential, institutional and industrial users, and educate them on techno-commercial aspects and the govt benefits. We are employing innovative methods to reach out to the target citizens, & businesses and encourage them to go solar. This campaign has received tremendous response, and we reached out to more than 10,000 citizens, while closing 20 plants with a combined capacity of 1.5 MW. We wish to continue the momentum and take this campaign to the next level.
