Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Safe and Efficient Driving

Drive assigned vehicles safely and responsibly, ensuring passenger comfort and security.

Follow all traffic rules, signals, and regulations at all times.

Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while driving in varied conditions, including heavy traffic.

Ensure smooth rides by avoiding unnecessary jerks, sharp turns, or abrupt braking.
2. Vehicle Maintenance & Upkeep
-
Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure it is in good working condition.

Check fuel, oil, tire pressure, coolant, and brakes before every trip.

Report any mechanical issues or damages to the employer/company immediately.

Coordinate with service centers for regular vehicle servicing and repairs.

Keep the vehicle clean, hygienic, and well-maintained both inside and outside.
3. Route Planning & Time Management
-
Plan the best routes for timely arrivals based on traffic, weather, and road conditions.

Use GPS and navigation tools to find efficient alternatives if required.

Ensure punctual pick-ups and drop-offs for passengers, clients, or deliveries.

Manage work schedules effectively and adhere to deadlines for assigned tasks.
4. Handling Assigned Tasks & Responsibilities

Be capable of handling different responsibilities given by the employer or management.

Transport goods, documents, or packages securely when instructed.

Assist with personal errands, official meetings, and site visits as required.

Maintain a professional attitude and adapt to changing work requirements.
5. Passenger Care & Customer Service

Ensure passenger comfort and safety throughout the journey.

Assist passengers with luggage loading/unloading when required.

Maintain confidentiality and discretion, especially when dealing with private matters.

Greet passengers politely and provide a pleasant travel experience.
6. Record Keeping & Documentation

Maintain a daily logbook with trip details, timings, fuel usage, and mileage.

Keep all necessary documents updated, including vehicle registration, insurance, pollution certificates, and licenses.

Submit periodic reports on vehicle performance, expenses, and fuel usage if required.
7. Emergency Preparedness

Be prepared to handle breakdowns, accidents, or emergencies calmly and efficiently.

Know how to change a tire, jump-start the battery, or troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.

Maintain a basic first-aid kit and emergency contacts in the vehicle at all times.
Required Skills & Capabilities
1. Driving Expertise

Valid Driving License: Must hold a valid license for light motor vehicles (LMV).
