Key Responsibilities

1. Shipment Coordination & Transportation Management

• Plan and arrange transportation for cargo via air, sea, road, or rail.
• Coordinate with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure efficient deliveries.
• Optimize routes and transport modes to minimize costs and transit time.

2. Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and verify bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import/export laws, and trade policies.
• Handle permits, licenses, and clearance documentation required for shipments.

3. Cargo Tracking & Delivery Management

• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Update clients and stakeholders on shipment status and delays.
• Address and resolve delivery issues, damages, or lost cargo claims.

4. Client & Vendor Coordination

• Act as a liaison between clients, transport providers, warehouse teams, and customs authorities.
• Maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, transport companies, and suppliers.
• Provide customer support, addressing any queries related to shipments.

5. Cost Management & Optimization

• Negotiate freight rates and transportation costs with vendors.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency in logistics operations.
• Ensure accurate billing and invoicing for logistics services.
