1. Shipment Coordination & Transportation Management
- Plan and arrange transportation for cargo via air, sea, road, or rail.
- Coordinate with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure efficient deliveries.
- Optimize routes and transport modes to minimize costs and transit time.
2. Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and verify bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import/export laws, and trade policies.
- Handle permits, licenses, and clearance documentation required for shipments.
3. Cargo Tracking & Delivery Management
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Update clients and stakeholders on shipment status and delays.
- Address and resolve delivery issues, damages, or lost cargo claims.
4. Client & Vendor Coordination
- Act as a liaison between clients, transport providers, warehouse teams, and customs authorities.
- Maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, transport companies, and suppliers.
- Provide customer support, addressing any queries related to shipments.
5. Cost Management & Optimization
- Negotiate freight rates and transportation costs with vendors.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency in logistics operations.
- Ensure accurate billing and invoicing for logistics services.
