JOB DESCRIPTION

The tasks a Cast House Operator is expected to perform include:

Operating cast house equipment
Performing duties regarding blast furnace stove and stock house

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING

Minimum – Class 10th pass
Certified training for Cast House Senior Operator (programme aligned to ISC/Q0407 job released by Indian Iron & Steel Sector Skill Council)

KEY COMPETENCIES

Skilled in handling cast house equipment
Knowledge of functioning of blast furnace stove and cast house crane
Knowledge of maintenance of cast house equipment

DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES

Training in interpretation of log book report
Induction training of cast house operations
Training in mud gun clay and tap hole drill machine
Training in cast house crane functioning
Training in 5S and safety practices

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum experience of 5 years in similar function & 10th pass

EXPECTED SALARY: Negotiable
