About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Book audition spaces and create casting lists
2. Liaise with the artistic and executive director and freelance directors regarding breakdowns, lists, and other requirements
3. Use Spotlight to release breakdowns, search for actors, and create shortlists
4. Check actors availability and set up and administrate audition days
5. Photocopy scripts and materials for particular days
6. Follow up auditions and let actors know if they have been unsuccessful or
make offers where appropriate, following these up when necessary
7. Write contracts for the general manager to sign and send to agents
8. Collate contact information for the creative team and actors for every
production
9. Send actors and creative teams a script, watermill information pack, and
various forms
10. Liaise re-accommodation and respond to actors submissions, requests, and invitations
11. Write creative team contracts and record equal opportunities data
12. Collate biographies and headshots'
13. Study script to understand all speaking roles and achieve mutual satisfaction
14. Coordinate between talents & clients
