Our Requirements:

Candidate should be from MSc Statistics/ MSc Maths Background. Preferably 2022 passed out.
Should be flexible to work in evening shift (3pm - 12am).
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work with large data sets, analyze, process, visualize and communicate quantitative information
Skilled in use of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Knowledge of relational databases, with a preference for MS-SQL Server, is a plus
Candidate should be a quick learner, and knowledge or exposure to quantitative modeling of any kind will be a plus
Good communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical subjects to varied audiences
Ability to prioritize and organize tasks under time and resource constraints
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Creative, results oriented, self-driven

What will you do

The core responsibility of the role is to perform timely, efficient, and high-quality catastrophe risk modelling to support the Underwriting, Actuarial, and Risk Management departments
Review of submitted Statements of Values to ensure accuracy and completeness and alerting relevant parties wherever submissions are either incomplete or inaccurate
Analysis of property exposure data provided as input to the risk analyses, including data quality assessment (consistency and plausibility checks), data augmentation and data management
Processing of exposure data as needed to prepare the information for catastrophe modeling and reporting
Quantifying the natural catastrophic risk based on catastrophe modeling software and maintaining turnaround time and quality at all the times
Cleansing, augmenting, validating and preparing catastrophic model exposure data risk assessment reports for Line of business
Understanding the Client requirements and supporting the onshore team in pricing and underwriting process
