A CCTV Engineer is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems, including DVRs, NVRs, IP cameras, and related security equipment. The role involves performing on-site work at client locations, managing wiring setups, and ensuring seamless integration of security systems. Candidates must have good technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in teams.
Job Overview
The CCTV Engineer will be responsible for executing CCTV system installations and related infrastructure, ensuring all components are configured correctly and operational. The position involves frequent travel to different client sites for installations, inspections, and maintenance. The company will reimburse conveyance expenses for travel from the office to client sites.

Key Responsibilities
1. Installation of CCTV Systems

Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and IP cameras.

Conduct system checks to ensure successful installation and proper connectivity.
2. Configuration of DVR/NVR Systems

Configure DVRs and NVRs for live monitoring, recording, and playback.

Set up network parameters, storage settings, and user access controls.

Integrate multiple cameras into a centralized monitoring system.

Optimize settings for maximum performance and video quality.
3. Site Survey and Planning

Visit client locations to assess installation requirements.

Prepare installation plans, including camera placements and wiring layouts.

Determine the best network and power connections for smooth integration.

Coordinate with clients to ensure installations meet their security needs.
4. Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Perform regular maintenance on CCTV systems to ensure smooth functioning.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and wiring.

Replace faulty components and update software when required.

Provide on-call support for emergency repairs and breakdowns.
5. Client Coordination

Interact with clients professionally during installations and service visits.

Address client queries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Act as a point of contact between clients and the company for technical requirements.
6. Reporting and Documentation
