Job Description

You will be doing, cable laying for CCTV, PA system, fire alarm system technician' is responsible for physically installing and routing the necessary cabling for closed-circuit television (CCTV), public address (PA) systems, and fire alarm systems within a building, ensuring proper connections and adherence to electrical safety standards, often as part of a larger security installation project.

Cable installation: Laying and pulling various types of low-voltage cables (coax, CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optic) for CCTV cameras, PA speakers, and fire alarm detectors, including proper routing through walls, ceilings, and conduits.
Cable termination: Crimping, stripping, and connecting cables to appropriate devices and connectors according to industry standards.
Conduit installation: Installing conduit systems to protect cables and facilitate future maintenance.
Cable labeling: Clearly labeling all cables to identify their function and location.
Site preparation: Drilling holes, cutting chases, and preparing wall surfaces for cable runs.
Testing and troubleshooting: Verifying cable integrity by testing signal strength and troubleshooting any connectivity issues.
Collaboration with other technicians: Coordinating with CCTV camera installers, PA system engineers, and fire alarm technicians to ensure seamless integration of systems.
