Job Description
Job Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated, technically sound, and dedicated CCTV Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for candidates who have basic knowledge or experience in CCTV, networking, and other electronic security systems. The primary responsibility of the role is to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain CCTV and related security systems at client sites.

Key Responsibilities
1. Installation & Setup

Install CCTV cameras (Analog and IP), DVRs, NVRs, and associated hardware at client premises.

Mount cameras, run cables, connect power supplies, and ensure complete and functional setup.

Install other security systems such as biometric attendance machines, door access systems, video door phones, fire alarm panels, and intruder alarms.
2. Configuration
-
Set up and configure CCTV systems, including assigning IP addresses, configuring networks, and integrating mobile/remote access.

Work with routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points for camera connectivity.

Ensure proper integration of security systems with existing client infrastructure.
3. Troubleshooting and Maintenance
-
Perform system diagnostics, identify faults, and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of installed systems.

Replace faulty components and upgrade firmware or software as required.
4. Documentation and Reporting
-
Maintain service logs and installation reports for every site visit.

Document IP configurations, system layouts, and cabling diagrams.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about project status and service updates.
5. Client Interaction and Support
-
Interact directly with clients to understand their security requirements.

Provide guidance on system operation and user training at the time of handover.

Offer post-installation support and attend service calls when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Basic knowledge of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR operations, and security devices.

Familiarity with networking fundamentals (IP addressing, LAN, routers, switches, cabling).

Basic understanding of electronic devices, cabling techniques, and power supply connections.

Ability to use basic tools like drills, testers, crimpers, cable testers, etc.
-
Must be comfortable working at heights (e.g., ladders or rooftops) and handling field equipment.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or with a team.

Good verbal communication and client interaction skills.
Eligibility
-
ITI / Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, Computer Hardware, Networking, or related field.

Freshers with basic knowledge and strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Prior field experience in CCTV or electronic security system installation is a plus but not mandatory.

Must have a willingness to travel locally to client sites.

Basic knowledge of computers and mobile apps for remote monitoring setup is desirable.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time, on-site job; field work at client locations is the primary mode of operation.

Office attendance is not required unless specified for meetings or training.

Working hours may vary depending on site schedules, service appointments, or emergency calls.
