Job Description
, We are looking for a motivated fresher with a strong interest in electronics and security systems to join our team as a CCTV Technician. You will receive hands-on training to assist in installing, maintaining, and supporting CCTV and access control systems at client sites.
Installation of IP CCTV cameras, NVRs, video door phones,
and related equipment, CCTV maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:

Installation of CCTV Systems:
-
Install CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, monitors, and other surveillance equipment according to technical specifications and client requirements.

Run and terminate cables (coaxial, CAT5/6, fiber optics) neatly and safely.
-
Set up and configure IP and analog camera systems.
-
Mount equipment and ensure safe and secure placement of devices.

Maintenance and Servicing:
-
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on CCTV systems.
-
Identify and resolve issues related to video loss, poor image quality, power supply, or connectivity problems.

Replace or repair faulty equipment, cables, or connectors as required.

Update firmware and software of DVRs/NVRs and cameras.

System Configuration and Networking:
-
Configure network settings for IP cameras and NVRs, including static IP addressing, port forwarding, and remote access setup.

Ensure integration of CCTV systems with client networks and mobile access apps.
-
Set up user accounts and configure recording schedules, motion detection, and backup settings.

Testing and Troubleshooting:
-
Test systems after installation to ensure full functionality and proper recording.
-
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently and provide on-site resolutions.

Conduct fault finding and diagnostics using testing tools and technical manuals.

Client Interaction and Reporting:
-
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical recommendations.

Provide training to clients or end-users on basic system operations and monitoring.

Prepare and submit service reports, installation checklists, and maintenance logs.

Compliance and Safety:
-
Adhere to health and safety regulations while working with electrical components and at height.
-
Ensure installations comply with company and industry standards.

Follow proper security protocols while handling sensitive surveillance equipment and data.

Team Support and Documentation:
-
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians during system installations and upgrades.

Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables.
-
Keep records of site visits, installations, service calls, and technical issues encountered.
