Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRAS) invites application for the position Consultant
The engagement will be purely on contract basis, initially for a period of one year. A written test will be held, if need be, depending on the number of candidates, followed by the interview on the same day, of those candidates, who qualify in the written test.

Place of posting: Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS), Hqrs Arumbakkam, Chennai.
Qualification:
i. Degree from a recognized University.
ii. Retired Section Officers/ Under Secretary/ Deputy Secretary from Central Government/ Central Autonomous Bodies.
iii. At least 10 years' experience in Budget and Accounts matters pertaining to Central Government
iv. Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in addition to exemplary knowledge in Budget and Accounts.
v. Knowledge of computer applications such as MS Office, tally etc.
vi. Candidates should be well conversant with office functions like drafting, noting, budget, accounts, office procedure, etc
Remuneration: Fixed monthly amount shall be admissible, arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement and a fixed amount as Transport al lowance as specified in the aforesaid Guidelines. The amount of remuneration so fixed shall remain unchanged for the term of contract. There will be no annual increment percentage Increases during the contract eriod.
Age Limit: Age not exceeding 64 years

In September 2010, the Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS) was formed by bifurcation of the erstwhile Central Council for Research in Ayurveda and Siddha (CCRAS).
