Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI) invites applications for the position of Project Associate
Project Associate-II (02 Positions)
Pay Scale: Rs.35,000/-pm + HRA(as applicable) to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. (ii)`.28,000/-pm + HRA (as applicable) for others who do not fall under (i) above.
B.E/B. Tech in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) with GATE qualification AND 2 years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services (If suitable GATE qualified candidates are not available, candidates without GATE will be engaged)
Age: 35 Years
Experience in the field of fuel cell engineering, thermal management, reactor designing, AutoCAD/Inventor for 2D and 3D designs, Modelling software such as COMSOL, Ansys and ASPEN

Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI) was founded at Karaikudi. The institute took roots in the patriotic fervor of RM. Alagappa Chettiar, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Dr. Shanthi Swarup Bhatnagar. Fast forward five years, on January 14, 1953, the institution became a reality when Dr. S. Radhakrishnan dedicated CSIR-CECRI, the 12th national laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), to the nation.
