Applications are invited for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) sponsored project entitled “Regulation of mtAOX (Mitochondrial alternative oxidase) genes and their involvement in redox signaling during salinity stress in plants” from qualified candidates
1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow
2. NO of Post: 01
3. Fellowship per month: Rs. 31,000 + HRA (For the first two years) Rs. 35,000 + HRA (For the third year)
4. Tenure: Three Years
5. Qualifications/Experience/ Requirements for the post: Master of Science in Plant Sciences/Botany/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Life Sciences or any other related fields
6. Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in Yeast genetics/ Plant Molecular Biology/Plant Physiology/Plant Biochemistry
7. Preference: Research experience in transcriptome analysis and/or yeast genetics is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared NET/GATE or equivalent examination.
8. The candidate selected for this position may apply for the regular Ph.D. program upon satisfying the eligible criteria set for the Ph.D. program by Central University of Tamil Nadu.
